GME Supply has acquired Wayne Enterprises, expanding its footprint in the custom workwear market and extending its reach into the oil and gas and utilities sectors.
GME Supply distributes safety and productivity equipment, tools, and customized workwear for trade professionals. The deal adds Houston-based Wayne Enterprises, a longtime supplier of uniforms, flame-resistant workwear, personal protective equipment, and in-house embroidery services. Financial terms were not disclosed.
GME said it will integrate Wayne Enterprises’ sales and customer support operations, uniform programs, and embroidery capabilities into its own platform, giving the combined company a broader portfolio of products and services for trade customers across the country.
“We are thrilled to welcome the Wayne Enterprises team into our organization,” said Caleb Messer, CEO of GME Supply. “Their reputation for quality products, exceptional customer service, and digital solutions aligns perfectly with our core values. This partnership will allow us to better serve our customers with a more comprehensive suite of solutions and accelerate our growth in key markets.”
Denise Howard, CEO of Wayne Enterprises, said the sale ensures continuity for employees and customers while positioning the business for future growth.
“Finding an organization that would be a true win-win-win for our employees, our clients, and our vendor partners was critical for me,” Howard said. “We are confident that this partnership will allow our employees to grow professionally, our clients to gain new competitive advantages, and create a powerhouse organization for our vendors to grow with. Ronnie Sr. and I spent years and countless hours building the Wayne legacy, and I know he would be so excited to see this partnership flourish.”
GME said integration will begin immediately, with an emphasis on maintaining service levels and providing a seamless transition for customers and staff.
