Grainger (NYSE: GWW), Chicago, Ill., a broad line distributor of maintenance, repair and operations products and services, reported its fiscal 2024 second-quarter sales were up 3.1% from the prior-year period.

Profit for the quarter was $490 million, unchanged from the prior-year period.
Year to date, sales were $8.5 billion, up slightly from the year-ago period. Profit was $987 million.
High-Touch Solutions-N.A. sales were up 3.1% in the second quarter. Endless Assortment sales were up 3.3% on a daily basis, driven by core B2B customers at Zoro and strong performance from MonotaRO with enterprise customers.
