Imperial Dade Acquires S. Freedman & Sons

Imperial Dade, Jersey City, N.J., North American distributor of foodservice packaging supplies, industrial products and janitorial supplies, has acquired S. Freedman & Sons Inc. (SFS), a distributor of paper, maintenance, packaging and restaurant supplies based in Landover, Md.

Founded in 1907, SFS serves customers throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and also delivers nationwide.

“We are excited to partner with SFS’s outstanding employees and look forward to investing in the company’s continued growth across the United States,” said Jason Tillis, Imperial Dade’s CEO.

The transaction marks the 96th acquisition for Imperial Dade under Robert and Jason Tillis.
