Kodiak Building Partners Acquires San Antonio Masonry & Steel

Kodiak Building Partners, a national building materials distributor based in Englewood, Colo., has acquired San Antonio Masonry & Steel, a regional provider of masonry, stone, stucco and steel products serving residential and commercial builders in south Texas.

“Kodiak is committed to partnering with locally established companies with strong reputations and community ties,” said Steve Swinney, Kodiak’s CEO. “This investment enhances our operational capabilities, expands our service offerings and drives growth in in a market where we are already well established.” 

The move was driven by growth projections for the Texas construction sector. 

Kodiak operates over 100 locations across 29 states. The move adds more than 150 employees to its workforce.
