Motion Industries, Inc., a Birmingham, Ala.-based distributor of maintenance, repair and operation replacement parts and a provider of industrial technology solutions, has agreed to acquire Canadian company LSI Supply Inc. and its sister company 273 Ontario.

The acquisition is expected to close later this month, bringing five additional locations to Motion’s more than 550 branches and 17 distribution centers in North America.
LSI Supply distributes bearings, seals, power transmission and fluid power components, as well as industrial supplies. They serve agriculture, automotive, food and beverage, marine, plastic injection, renewable energy and tool and die markets. They also support military and wastewater services.
Motion has annual sales of $8 billion.
