Motion Industries, Inc., Birmingham, Ala. distributor of maintenance, repair and operation replacement parts, and provider of industrial technology solutions, has agreed to acquire the operating assets of M.B. McKee Company, effective Jan. 31, 2025.

Headquartered in Lubbock, Texas, M.B. McKee is a distributor of mechanical bearings, belts, chains, conveyor systems/components, motors, drives and power transmission components.
“M.B. McKee is a well-established, high-quality business and a perfect strategic fit for us,” said James Howe, president of Motion. “The complementary product offering and customer-centric approach will supplement and extend our presence and scale in the region.”
Motion North America has over 550 branches and services centers and 17 distribution centers and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company (NYSE:GPC).
