Motion Industries Inc., Birmingham, Ala., a maintenance, repair and operation replacement parts and industrial technology solutions distributor, named Patrick Cummings as its new Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Most recently, Cummings served as the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis before being asked to serve as the interim CFO after Motion’s previous CFO moved to the U.S. Automotive Group at Genuine Parts Company. Cummings brings over 17 years of experience and will report directly to Randy Breaux, president of Motion.
