Orise Distribution, a startup medical supplies distributor, is expanding its St. Louis facility with a $6.2 million investment that will add more than 5,000 square feet of space and create 40 new jobs.
The project is supported by the Missouri Works program, which provides incentives such as tax credits to encourage job creation, and is coordinated with the Missouri Department of Economic Development, the St. Louis Development Corporation, Ameren Missouri, and local educational institutions.
Founded by industry veterans, Orise Distribution supplies long-term medical equipment and supplies, including wheelchairs, hospital beds, and mobility aids, to healthcare providers, institutions, and individual patients. The company is implementing an AI-driven supply chain system and plans to enter pharmaceutical distribution by 2026.
CEO Quentin Womack said the expansion strengthens the regional healthcare supply chain. “This collaboration marks a major step forward in driving new job creation and economic growth in St. Louis,” he said.
Orise also plans to add five new medical textile product lines and build a nationwide distribution, warehousing, and fulfillment network. The company aims to streamline procurement, reduce supply chain inefficiencies, and ensure uninterrupted patient care through AI-powered operations.
