Parts Town Unlimited announced Thursday that CEO Steve Snower will step down after more than two decades in the role, transitioning to executive chairman of the board. The leadership change comes as Snower shifts focus to family obligations amid his wife’s ongoing recovery from leukemia treatment and a stem cell transplant.
Bill Geary, formerly a senior executive at global distributor Wesco, will succeed Snower as CEO. Geary most recently oversaw a multi-billion-dollar division at Wesco, which operates in over 50 countries and employs more than 20,000 people.
Snower said he will remain active in the company’s long-term strategy, culture, and merger and acquisition (M&A) initiatives. “This transition provides the flexibility I need to support my family while ensuring the company continues to move forward under experienced leadership,” he said in a statement.
In a separate move, the company named Glenn Chamberlin as its next chief financial officer. He replaces Lori Sherwood, who plans to retire in spring 2026 after more than a decade in the role. Sherwood joined Parts Town in 2014 and played a key role in scaling the business through 37 acquisitions. She will stay on through an extended transition period.
Chamberlin previously served as executive vice president of finance at BradyPLUS, where he led efforts to modernize financial operations and supported multiple acquisitions.
Parts Town Unlimited, which includes more than 49 brands worldwide, is a major distributor of OEM parts for foodservice equipment, appliances, HVAC systems, and consumer electronics. The company has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing firms in the U.S. for 16 consecutive years.
