Rexel 2024 Sales Up 0.7%

Rexel, global distributor of electrical supplies based in Paris, reported sales for fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024, were €4.89 billion, up 3.6% from the prior-year period.

The company reported 2024 sales of €19.28 billion, up 0.7%. Acquisitions contributed 2.9% to sales growth. 

In the fourth quarter, North American sales were up 3.6%, while European sales were unchanged from the third quarter 2024. Asia-Pacific was slightly negative in most countries excluding India. 

The four product categories related to electrification (solar, EV charging infrastructure, HVAC and industrial automation) represented 21% of sales, and decreased by 8.2% in the fourth quarter.
