Rexel, Paris, France, distributor of electrical, heating, lighting and plumbing equipment, reported sales for its fiscal 2022 fourth quarter were €4.8 billion, up 12.3% on a constant and same-day basis from the prior-year period.

Rexel also reported sales for its fiscal 2022 year were €18.7 billion, up 14.1% on a constant and same-day basis from the prior year. Net profit for the year was €922 million, up 54.3% from the prior-year period.
Sales for Europe were €2.4 billion in the fourth quarter and totaled €9.4 billion for 2022, up 16% and 13.9%, respectively. Sales in North America were €2 billion in the fourth quarter and totaled €7.9 billion for 2022, up 10.2% and 16.3%, respectively. Sales in Asia-Pacific were €341 million in the fourth quarter and totaled €1.4 billion for 2022, up 0.7% and 3.9%, respectively.
