Legacy Motor Club has signed a new partnership with Rexel USA, one of the nation’s largest distributors of electrical and automation supplies, for the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season. Under the agreement, Rexel will serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 42 Toyota Camry XSE driven by John Hunter Nemechek at Richmond Raceway on August 15, and as an associate sponsor at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in October.
The Richmond race will feature a blue, white, and gold Rexel-branded livery, symbolizing the company’s focus on innovation, technology, and sustainability — themes that LEGACY MC says mirror its own forward-looking approach to motorsports.
Rexel USA CEO Roger Little said the partnership gives the company an opportunity to reach a broader audience of professionals and customers in the electrical and industrial sectors. “NASCAR connects with our customers and brings visibility and energy to Rexel that mirrors the excitement and growth we’re experiencing as a company,” he said.
Rexel’s move follows a growing trend among distributors using motorsports sponsorships to raise their brand profile and connect with industrial audiences. Global Industrial, a broad-line distributor of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) products, has an ongoing partnership with Richard Childress Racing and has used NASCAR to promote its “Partnerships with Purpose” campaign.
By joining the NASCAR field, Rexel adds its name to a short but expanding list of distributors investing in sports marketing to elevate visibility and customer engagement beyond traditional trade channels.
Headquartered in Dallas, Rexel USA operates more than 450 warehouse storefronts nationwide under banners including Rexel, Gexpro, Mayer, Talley, and Platt Electric Supply. The company is part of the Paris-based Rexel Group, one of the world’s largest electrical distribution networks.
