Roofr, a software company that builds digital tools for roofing contractors, has launched an integration with QXO Inc., a publicly traded distributor of residential and commercial roofing materials.
The integration links QXO’s e-commerce platform, QXO.com, with Roofr’s customer relationship management (CRM) software. Roofing contractors using Roofr can now access QXO’s real-time material pricing and place orders directly from within the platform. The companies say the integration is designed to simplify ordering, reduce manual entry, and improve pricing consistency for contractors managing multiple jobs.
This connection also gives contractors greater visibility in material availability, which can help with project scheduling and planning. Instead of switching between systems or manually updating pricing, users can generate proposals using live product data from QXO that reflects their negotiated terms. Orders submitted through the Roofr platform are sent directly to QXO for fulfillment.
For Roofr, the integration enhances its end-to-end workflow tools for roofing professionals, which include features for lead capture, job measurement, quoting, proposals, invoicing, and payments. The platform, which is designed specifically for small to mid-sized contractors, has positioned itself to centralize business operations and reduce administrative work.
“Enhancing operational efficiency for contractors has always been our focus,” said Roofr CEO Richard Nelson in a statement. “This integration brings the supply chain one step closer to the point of sale and helps eliminate unnecessary delays in getting projects started.”
For QXO, the move reflects its growing focus on digital enablement. QXO has said it plans to scale into a $50 billion enterprise over the next decade through a combination of acquisitions and organic growth. As part of that strategy, the company has prioritized investment in e-commerce infrastructure and technology partnerships that can help streamline the customer experience.
The Roofr integration represents one of the first announced connections between QXO and a contractor-facing software platform. It also comes as distributors across the building materials industry are facing pressure to modernize operations, improve transparency, and respond more quickly to contractor demands.
Roofr’s platform includes several modules aimed at helping contractors manage their businesses more efficiently. These include:
- Instant Estimates: Tools to generate quick cost estimates for homeowners.
- CRM: A customer relationship management system to track leads and jobs.
- Digital Proposals: Templates for sending electronic project proposals.
- Measurement Reports: DIY and professional options for capturing roof dimensions.
- Invoicing and Payments: Features for creating invoices and managing collections.
- Material Ordering: Ordering tools now integrated with QXO’s catalog and pricing.
- Pipeline Management: Workflow tools to track job progress and automate tasks.
“Contractors want simple, reliable access to the materials they need,” QXO said. “This integration supports that need by connecting product data and ordering directly into the tools they already use.”
