SiteOne Landscape Supply said it has expanded its contractor education platform by incorporating Irrigator Technical Training School into its professional development offerings. The move is intended to strengthen SiteOne’s support for irrigation professionals through technical training and certification.
The addition brings an established, direct irrigation training program into SiteOne’s portfolio, extending the distributor’s role beyond product sales into workforce development for landscape and irrigation contractors.
“The integration of Irrigator Tech reflects our continued commitment to delivering superior quality, service and value to our customers,” Doug Black, SiteOne’s chairman and chief executive officer, said. “Contractors rely on us not only for best-in-class products, but also for partnership and support that strengthen their long-term success. By adding trade-based, technical training programs in irrigation, we are expanding our ability to help customers build skills, elevate their teams, and grow their businesses.”
Irrigator Technical Training School is widely known in the green industry for its practical, field-oriented curriculum, with programs focused on real-world irrigation skills such as system installation, repair and maintenance, the company said.
Marcie Daigle, owner of Irrigator Tech, said joining SiteOne will allow the organization to expand its reach and resources.
“Joining SiteOne allows us to better serve our students with new products and technologies, along with providing exciting career opportunities and long-term growth potential,” Daigle said.
SiteOne said the integration aligns with its broader strategy of delivering value-added services beyond products, including education, professional development and business support designed to help contractors build stronger, more successful businesses.
SiteOne Landscape Supply is the only national wholesale distributor of landscape supplies in the United States and has a growing presence in Canada. Its customers primarily include residential and commercial landscape professionals specializing in the design, installation and maintenance of lawns, gardens, golf courses, and other outdoor spaces.
