Sonepar has launched its first national customer appreciation campaign in the United States, coordinating a monthlong January promotion across 12 of its regional electrical distribution brands serving electrical contractors.
The initiative, called January Jumpstart, runs throughout January and represents the first time Sonepar has aligned a single customer-facing sales and marketing effort across its U.S. operating companies. The company said the campaign is intended to reinforce its contractor-focused services alongside limited-time purchasing incentives.
The promotion includes product offers, in-branch demonstrations and a sweepstakes supported by event partners Milwaukee Tool and 3M. According to the company, the sweepstakes’ grand prize, valued at $5,000, includes Milwaukee PACKOUT storage systems and an assortment of 3M products. Terms and conditions apply.
Heather Naida, senior vice president of sales, marketing and customer experience at Sonepar USA, said the campaign is designed to highlight Sonepar’s service capabilities beyond product distribution, including digital tools, project management support, kitting, lighting design services, and logistics offerings such as staging and storage.
Sonepar said the promotion is being marketed through streaming audio and connected television advertising, targeted digital advertising, branch-level signage, and live product demonstrations at select locations. The company did not disclose expected sales results or participation targets.
January Jumpstart builds on Sonepar’s national brand advertising campaign, Our Knowledge Is ELECTRIC, which launched across its U.S. brands in 2025. The company said that campaign increased web traffic and in-branch engagement and will be expanded further in 2026.
Participating brands in the January promotion include Capital Electric, Codale, Cooper Electric, Crawford Electric, Echo Electric, North Coast Electric, NorthEast Electrical, OneSource Distributors, QED, Sunrise Electric, Viking Electric and World Electric.
Sonepar is the world’s largest business-to-business distributor of electrical equipment, solutions, and services. The privately held company reported global sales of $35.2 billion in 2024 and operates in 40 countries. Sonepar entered the U.S. market in 1998 and now serves customers through more than 570 locations nationwide with approximately 12,800 associates.
