Staples Business Launches Contest Honoring Janitorial and Facility Staff

Staples Business has launched Everyday Champions, a national contest recognizing janitorial, sanitation, and facility professionals for their contributions to workplace operations.

The contest runs from August 13 through September 15, with nominations accepted at stapleseverydaychampions.com. Eligible nominees include custodial staff, facility managers, and other personnel who support the daily functioning of businesses.

Three grand prize winners will receive $10,000 each, while the individuals who nominated them will receive $500. Five honorable mentions will receive $1,000. Winners will be announced on or around October 10, with Staples Business highlighting them through site visits, professional photography, and digital profiles.

“These are the people who show up early, stay late, and go the extra mile to create clean, safe, and welcoming environments,” said Mike Cusick, senior vice president of facilities solutions at Staples Business. “Everyday Champions is about giving credit where it’s long overdue.”

Staples Business provides workplace solutions across industries including education, healthcare, and government, supplying janitorial products, office essentials, technology, and furniture. The company serves organizations throughout North America through B2B sales and e-commerce channels.
