SYSPRO, a global provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for manufacturers and distributors, has acquired DATASCOPE, a U.S.-based warehouse management system (WMS) provider with long-standing technical integration into the SYSPRO platform.
The deal marks SYSPRO’s third acquisition in 12 months, following the purchases of NexSys and riteSOFT, as the company continues to expand its capabilities under private equity ownership. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
DATASCOPE specializes in warehouse and inventory management software designed specifically for manufacturers and distributors using SYSPRO ERP. With more than two decades of experience, DATASCOPE brings a fully embedded WMS solution already in use by SYSPRO customers, allowing for immediate deployment with minimal disruption.
SYSPRO said the acquisition will enhance its ability to deliver an end-to-end ERP and WMS offering, improving inventory visibility, supply chain control, and operational efficiency for its customers. The deal also gives SYSPRO partners access to a pre-integrated WMS system, expanding their ability to support more complex warehouse operations.
The DATASCOPE team will join SYSPRO as part of the acquisition, bringing additional domain expertise and accelerating product development within the combined organization.
SYSPRO, headquartered in South Africa with operations in North America and globally, serves over 16,000 customers in 60 countries. Its ERP solutions are available in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployments.
