Venturi Supply, Phoenix, Ariz., distributor of pipes, fittings, engineered products and industrial supplies, has acquired Monumental Supply Company, Baltimore-based distributor of pipes, valves, fittings and other specialty products.

The acquisition will expand Venturi’s territory as it aims to build a national presence. It will also add a new array of specialty and ancillary products to Venturi’s catalog.
Venturi made the acquisition with the backing of Dallas-based private equity firm Trive Capital.
“The addition of Monumental, strategically located in the heart of Baltimore, enables us grow our base of mechanical contractors, OEMs and utility customers in a new region for Venturi,” said Michael DiMino, Venturi’s CEO.
Venturi operates 44 locations across the U.S.
