White Cap Supply Holdings is pushing further into North America with its latest acquisitions of Advanced Forming Solutions (AFS) in Washington state and Anchor Construction Industrial Products in Western Canada. The company, which describes itself as a one-stop shop for professional contractors, now operates at about 500 branches across the continent, supported by more than 10,500 employees serving 200,000 customers.
AFS, based in Castle Rock, Washington, supplies concrete forming and shoring solutions to commercial, civil, government and institutional projects. Anchor, headquartered in Winnipeg, distributes fasteners, power tools, anchors, abrasives, firestops, safety products, and other construction supplies across six locations in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Ontario.
“We are pleased to grow our presence in both the U.S. and Canada with these two strong teams,” said Alan Sollenberger, White Cap’s chief executive officer. “These acquisitions help us serve our customers faster and more efficiently, while creating growth opportunities for our associates and strengthening our local teams.”

White Cap’s acquisition drive reflects a strategy to consolidate a fragmented market where many regional distributors hold long-standing customer relationships. By bringing those businesses under one umbrella, the company gains both scale and local service capabilities.
The acquisition of Dayton Superior in 2024, which added engineered concrete accessories, chemicals and research and development services, marked a shift toward more technical offerings. Recent deals in Canada, including Raider Hansen, Rebar Solutions and now Anchor, also signal White Cap’s intent to deepen its cross-border footprint.
With infrastructure spending rising and supply chains under pressure, White Cap’s leadership has made clear that more acquisitions could follow. Each addition brings new geographic reach, product categories, or value-added services, giving the distributor a stronger position in a competitive and consolidating construction supply market.
