White Cap Supply Holdings LLC, a leading distributor of specialty construction supplies and safety products for professional contractors, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Cascade Raider Holdings Ltd., known as Raider Hansen, a Canadian distributor with a strong presence in British Columbia. The acquisition continues White Cap’s strategy of expanding its North American footprint through targeted acquisitions that bolster local expertise, service capabilities, and product offerings.
Raider Hansen operates eight locations across British Columbia and has served contractors and industrial facilities for decades with a comprehensive range of tools, safety gear, and construction equipment. The company is recognized for its technical knowledge, customer service, and established relationships in the western Canadian construction market.
“Raider Hansen brings a deep understanding of the regional market and a strong service culture that aligns well with our operations,” said Alan Sollenberger, CEO of White Cap. “Their presence strengthens our Canadian business and expands our ability to serve customers from coast to coast.”
The Raider Hansen team will become part of White Cap Canada, which has been expanding steadily as White Cap looks to build a fully integrated service network across North America. With this acquisition, White Cap enhances its ability to meet the complex and customized supply needs of contractors operating in both residential and commercial sectors, as well as infrastructure and industrial projects.
Rod Langtry, President of Raider Hansen, said the acquisition offers opportunities to scale operations and improve the range of products and services available to customers.
“White Cap shares our focus on technical service, product expertise, and customer relationships,” Langtry said. “This partnership positions us to grow in ways that weren’t previously possible and gives our team access to broader resources while continuing to support our local communities.”
The Raider Hansen acquisition follows closely on the heels of White Cap’s acquisition of Kris-Con, a Texas-based supplier of specialty construction materials and equipment rentals. Kris-Con operates in the Houston and Austin metropolitan areas and has developed a reputation for responsive service to commercial contractors.
The company was previously owned and operated by Mike and Carmen Jackson, who emphasized cultural compatibility and shared service priorities as key reasons for the deal.
“White Cap shares our dedication to providing exceptional customer service and investing in our people,” said the Jacksons in a joint statement. “As we combine our teams, we’re confident this move will benefit both our associates and our customers.”
By adding Kris-Con to its portfolio, White Cap strengthens its position in one of the fastest-growing construction markets in the United States. Texas continues to see significant infrastructure and commercial development, and Kris-Con’s equipment rental business adds a new layer to White Cap’s suite of value-added services.
“These two acquisitions—Raider Hansen in Canada and Kris-Con in Texas—are aligned with our long-term strategy to deepen regional capabilities, expand our geographic reach, and improve our overall service model,” said Sollenberger.
White Cap is headquartered in Atlanta and operates approximately 500 branches across North America, employing more than 10,500 people and serving around 200,000 customers. Its product portfolio includes concrete accessories and chemicals, tools, and equipment, building materials and fasteners, erosion and waterproofing products, and safety supplies. The company serves a wide range of construction end markets, including non-residential, infrastructure, and residential sectors.
The company has been active in expanding its footprint since becoming an independent entity in 2020 following its separation from HD Supply. White Cap has since made several strategic acquisitions to increase its capabilities and service reach.
Financial terms of the Raider Hansen and Kris-Con deals were not disclosed.
