Winsupply Inc. aims to open 20 new “Local Companies” across the country in 2025. This expansion is part of the company’s strategy to enhance its market presence and solidify its position in the wholesale distribution of construction materials, HVAC, plumbing, and MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) products.
As part of its growth plan, Winsupply is targeting $8.3 billion in annual sales for 2025. The company currently supports a network of over 670 Local Companies, each independently owned and operated, but benefiting from Winsupply’s centralized resources, financial backing, and a business model designed to foster entrepreneurial success, the company said.
These independently operated affiliates specialize in markets like HVAC, plumbing, and industrial supplies, driving the company’s overall success. The 2025 expansion plans build on the increasing demand in these sectors. Recently, Winsupply opened new Local Companies in Richmond, Virginia, and Virginia Beach, Virginia, both focused on HVAC distribution, reflecting the company’s strategy of targeting growing markets.”
The new Local Company fits into Winsupply Inc.’s growth strategy in the Virginia area, said Rob McCullough, Area Leader for Winsupply Inc.
“Richmond is a growing city, and while we had a team within the Winsupply of Richmond (formerly Noland), this new company exclusively concentrates on HVAC,” McCullough said. “It is a win-win for both companies. One can focus on plumbing and the other on HVAC.”
Beyond the regional focus, Winsupply’s 2025 expansion will also target other areas across the U.S. As part of its broader national strategy, Winsupply expects its Local Companies to drive significant growth by the end of next year.
Founded in 1956, Winsupply operates across multiple industries, including construction, HVAC, plumbing, and MRO supplies. The company says the balance of autonomy of locally run subsidiaries and strategic support from the parent company has made Winsupply successful.
