FleetPride Inc. and TruckPro LLC have completed their merger, creating what the companies call the largest independent distributor and service provider in the heavy-duty truck parts aftermarket. The combined business, operating under the FleetPride name, establishes a new national powerhouse with expanded scale, service capabilities, and digital reach across North America.
Under the joint ownership of private equity firms American Securities and Platinum Equity, the new FleetPride will be led by chief executive officer Tom Greco, who joined the company in July. TruckPro’s president and CEO, Chuck Broadus, will continue to lead the TruckPro business and support integration efforts. The combined organization will be headquartered in Irving, Texas, with a satellite office in Memphis, Tennessee.
Together, FleetPride and TruckPro bring a network of more than 450 locations, 110 service centers, and six distribution facilities across the United States and Canada. The merger significantly broadens the company’s footprint and gives it a deeper inventory base and logistics capacity to serve fleets, repair shops, and independent service providers. The integration also strengthens its ecommerce and digital ordering platforms—areas both companies have been investing in to meet rising demand for faster, more transparent access to heavy-duty parts and services.
Industry analysts say the deal reflects the accelerating consolidation of the commercial vehicle aftermarket, where distributors are seeking greater scale and digital capability to compete with large OEM-backed service networks and national chains. The combined company is expected to use its expanded platform to accelerate investments in technology, streamline procurement and fulfillment, and improve customer experience.
Private equity backers American Securities and Platinum Equity said the merger aligns with their broader strategy of combining complementary businesses to build operational strength and long-term growth potential. Both firms have a history of investing in industrial and distribution platforms and are expected to play an active role in guiding the integration and strategic expansion of the new FleetPride.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
With the merger complete, FleetPride now controls one of the industry’s largest networks for distribution of parts and repair services. Its scale, digital infrastructure, and nationwide coverage position it to compete more directly with other national players in the aftermarket parts sector while continuing to serve independent and regional fleets that depend on rapid access to parts and reliable service.
