Genuine Parts Company announced that its London-based automotive distribution company, Alliance Automotive Group, has acquired Lausan Group.

Lausan Group is based in Bilbao, Spain, and distributes automotive aftermarket parts throughout Spain and Portugal. The company serves customers across nine regional hubs, one national distribution center and 37 stores. Genuine Parts Company expects its new acquisition will generate annual revenue of €115 million, or $125 million USD.
“We are pleased to expand our European automotive footprint with the addition of Lausan. With our entry into Spain and Portugal, we expect to further strengthen Lausan’s market-leading position by capitalizing on our European scale and purchasing expertise, as well as leveraging the roll-out of our NAPA brand across this region,” General Parts Company Chairman and CEO Paul Donahue said.
With the addition of Lausan, Alliance Automotive Group operates in nine European countries, including France, the UK, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Spain and Portugal.
