Leap Adds Another Distributor Partner in Deal with ABC Supply

Providers of customer relationship management (CRM) software for roofing contractors are making it easier for their clients to order directly from major distributors.

In the latest tieup, Leap announced that  contractors using its CRM software can order directly from the product catalog of ABC Supply Co. Inc., a major supplier of roofing and other exterior building products. Earlier, Leap had announced deals with distributors QXO and SRS Distribution.

“Our partnership with Leap allows us to deliver a more streamlined, tech-enabled experience to contractors,” Kris Kieffer, director of business platform and customer enablement at ABC Supply. “By integrating real-time branch-level pricing, product offerings and one-click ordering directly into Leap CRM, ABC Supply helps contractors reduce errors, save time and improve project efficiency. “This integration ultimately enhances customer satisfaction, meets the customer where they want to do business and strengthens ABC Supply’s value proposition as a trusted supplier.”

Kiefer says ABC Supply has also integrated its systems with those of other technology providers. “These integrations consistently help streamline workflows, improve accuracy and enhance operational efficiency. Our suite of APIs is designed to give customers the flexibility to build their own integrations directly into their systems.

“Contractor feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, reinforcing our commitment to supporting the tools they rely on most.”

Contractors will be able to view from within their Leap CRM product availability and prices at local ABC outlets and convert signed estimates into orders without reentering data or switching to another software program.

“Contractors shouldn’t have to bounce between systems just to keep a job moving,” said Patrick Fingles, CEO of Leap. “By bringing ABC Supply’s real-time pricing and ordering inside Leap CRM, we’re eliminating wasted clicks, phone calls and guesswork. Contractors can scope, price, order and track materials in one place—so projects move faster and with far fewer mistakes.”

There is no charge for contractors to activate the link between Leap and ABC Supply, the companies say. Headquartered in Beloit, Wisconsin, ABC Supply has over 1,000 locations across the U.S. and Canada.

Leap rival Roofr’s partnerships with distributors

Leap competitor Roofr, a provider of CRM, estimating and other tools for roofing contractors, also has announced partnerships with ABC Supply, QXO, SRS Distribution and other distributors.

Leap has raised $198 million over 10 funding rounds since 2018, according to Tracxn, which tracks investments in private companies. Roofr has raised $43.9 million in six funding rounds since 2017, Tracxn says.

ABC Supply has been among the investors in at least two funding rounds for Roofr, a capital raise of $23.5 million announced in October 2023 and a Series B round for an undisclosed amount of cash announced in January.
