Owens & Minor Sales Reach $2.5 Billion in Q2 2022

Healthcare logistics and medical supplies distributor Owens & Minor, Inc. (NYSE: OMI) reported sales for the second quarter 2022 reached $2.5 billion, up slightly from the previous year’s second–quarter results of $2.48 billion. Net income was $28 million.

“I am very pleased with our performance in the second quarter, where the strength of our business model and the O&M business system helped us in the face of external conditions that continued to deteriorate over the quarter. Our Patient Direct segment again executed very well and continues to grow as a percentage of total company profitability, and quarterly results were driven by the consistent strength in our Byram business that once again saw growth outpace the market,” Owens & Minor CEO and President Edward A. Pesicka said.
