Rexel USA, Dallas, Texas, distributor of electrical supplies and services, has acquired Schwing Electrical Supply Corp., an electrical distributor based in Farmingdale, N.Y.

With the move, Rexel USA adds six locations and 100 employees on Long Island, an area with planned investments in residential, commercial and healthcare construction.
“This acquisition marks a significant expansion into the Long Island market, which presents attractive growth opportunities,” said Roger Little, Rexel USA’s CEO. “By combining our strengths, we will deliver even greater value and service to our customers, associates and suppliers.”
Schwing will continue to operate under its established name.
