Richards Supply has expanded its executive leadership team and is advancing a companywide rollout of the Entrepreneurial Operating System, an operational framework the distributor says is designed to strengthen alignment, accountability and scalability across its branches and service operations.
The company said the EOS initiative follows a two-year internal evaluation and is intended to improve how Richards Supply supports industrial and contractor customers by helping them reduce downtime, increase throughput, and gain more value from the distributor’s technical expertise and supply capabilities.
As part of the transition, Richards Supply announced three leadership moves.
Edwin Sanchez was promoted to vice president of operations, where he will oversee branch operations, logistics, purchasing, inventory control, and warehouse management. Sanchez has been with the company for 16 years, according to the company.
Matt Kuehl was promoted to vice president of technology and will lead digital transformation initiatives, systems integration, and data infrastructure development.
Bubba Badgett joined Richards Supply as vice president of sales. He is responsible for new business development, account management, inside sales and overall revenue performance. The company said Badgett brings more than 12 years of industrial sales experience and most recently served as regional sales manager at Agilix in Memphis, Tennessee. He began the role in September 2025.
“We are positioning Richards Supply to deliver more value to our customers — not just through products, but through solutions that make their operations stronger,” CEO Eric Wessinger said in a statement.
Founded in 1937, Richards Supply is a Texas-based distributor of industrial, safety and contractor products with locations in Waco, Fort Worth and Temple.
