SRS Distribution Acquires Rising Star Wholesale

SRS Distribution Inc., McKinney, Texas, a distributor of building products, has acquired Rising Star Wholesale.

Based in Des Moines, Iowa, Rising Star is a wholesale distributor of siding, windows, doors and other complementary products. The company employs 17 people and has one location, adding to SRS Distribution’s footprint of 780 locations across 48 states.

“The company’s siding, window, and door expertise will be an outstanding complement to our existing roofing-focused operation in the market,” said Dan Tinker, SRS president and CEO. 

SRS Distribution is a subsidiary of The Home Depot Inc.
