Distribution Strategy Group Expands to Better Serve the Distribution Industry 

Distribution Strategy Group has added two to its team. These additions bolster Distribution Strategy Group’s ability to provide timely analysis, thought leadership, research and consulting services to distributors across all industry segments.

Claire Chaplais joined Distribution Strategy Group as Vice President of Operations. With more than 25 years of experience, Chaplais oversees all operations for DSG, including project and program management; client contracts and communications; human resources; contract management and more. She previously worked for Wind River Systems, StorageTek, Harris Broadcasting and Gestalt IT. 

“Claire has extensive experience in the fast-paced high-tech industry and a strong track record leading operations, events and marketing initiatives. She ensures we deliver programs on time and helps us meet the goals of our clients, our audience and our company,” said Ian Heller, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer, Distribution Strategy Group. 

Dakotah Kirchenwitz is the team’s Sales and Marketing Specialist, focused on ensuring the creation of engaging and useful content for Distribution Strategy Group’s distributor audience and optimizing results for DSG’s partners. 

Starting his career as a warehouse worker, Kirchenwitz has eight years of sales and marketing experience in the construction and distribution industries. He worked up to warehouse management and then moved into a customer-facing sales role. 

“Dakotah has a deep knowledge of how distributors operate because he’s stood in their shoes for much of his career,” said Heller. “That experience, combined with his strong understanding of marketing and analytics means we can produce better, more relevant products and services. He brings a wonderful skillset to the DSG team that will benefit our clients and our audience.”
