Sonepar Italia S.p.A. announced that it has acquired Majorano S.p.A.’s electrical material distribution activities. The handover will take place through a new company, named Elettrica Majorano Srl, which will become a part of Sonepar Italia.
Founded in Naples in 1947, Majorano is a distributor of electrical materials across 13 branches in central-southern Italy. In 2021, it recorded sales of $25 million. “The journey that led Sonepar and Majorano to join their forces has finally and officially been completed. This operation will allow us to consolidate the excellent territorial coverage that the two companies have built over the years in the regions of Campania, Calabria and partly in Lazio,” Sonepar Italia President Sergio Novello said.
